JESUS
is coming back and time is short!
THE
PERSON OF THE HOLY
SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is a
Divine Person of the
Godhead worthy to
receive our love,
adoration, faith and
worship. (The Holy
Spirit is not simply
an influence or power
that God imparts.)
The Holy Spirit is a
personal Being who is
infinitely wise, holy,
powerful, loving,
righteous and just. He
is tender and gentle,
an ever-present loving
friend, who helps and
encourages us.
The
Holy Spirit is
God.
Ac 5:3-5
3 But Peter said,
Ananias, why hath
Satan filled thine
heart to lie to the
Holy Ghost, and to
keep back part of the
price of the land?
4 Whiles it remained,
was it not thine own?
and after it was sold,
was it not in thine
own power? why hast
thou conceived this
thing in
thine heart? thou hast
not lied unto men, but
unto God.
5 And Ananias hearing
these words fell down,
and gave up the ghost:
and great fear came on
all them that heard
these things.
Is 6:8-10
8 Also I heard the
voice of the Lord,
saying, Whom shall I
send, and who will go
for us? Then said I,
Here am I; send me.
9 And he said, Go, and
tell this people, Hear
ye indeed, but
understand not; and
see ye indeed, but
perceive not.
10 Make the heart of
this people fat, and
make their ears heavy,
and shut their eyes;
lest they see with
their eyes, and hear
with their ears, and
understand with their
heart, and convert,
and be healed.
Ac28:25-27
25 And when they
agreed not among
themselves, they
departed, after that
Paul had spoken one
word, Well spake the
Holy Ghost by Esaias
the prophet unto our
fathers,
26 Saying, Go unto
this people, and say,
Hearing ye shall hear,
and shall not
understand; and seeing
ye shall see, and not
perceive:
27 For the heart of
this people is waxed
gross, and their ears
are dull of hearing,
and their eyes have
they closed; lest they
should see with their
eyes, and hear with
their ears, and
understand with their
heart, and should be
converted, and I
should heal them.
2Cor 3:17-18
17 Now the Lord is
that Spirit: and where
the Spirit of the Lord
is, there is liberty.
18 But we all, with
open face beholding as
in a glass the glory
of the Lord, are
changed into the same
image from glory to
glory, even as by the
Spirit of the Lord.
Ex 16:7
7 And in the morning,
then ye shall see the
glory of the Lord; for
that he heareth your
murmurings against the
Lord: and what are we,
that ye murmur against
us?
Heb 3:7-9
7 Wherefore (as the
Holy Ghost saith, To
day if ye will hear
his voice,
8 Harden not your
hearts, as in the
provocation, in the
day of temptation in
the wilderness:
9 When your fathers
tempted me, proved me,
and saw my works forty
years.
Ps 95:8-11
8 Harden not your
heart, as in the
provocation, and as in
the day of temptation
in the wilderness:
9 When your fathers
tempted me, proved me,
and saw my work.
10 Forty years long
was I grieved with
this generation, and
said, It is a people
that do err in their
heart, and they have
not known my ways:
11 Unto whom I sware
in my wrath that they
should not enter into
my rest.
The
Holy Spirit
exercises His
mind and
thinks.
(speaking
in tongues)
King James
Bible
1Cor
14:2 For
he that speaketh
in an unknown
tongue speaketh
not unto men, but
unto God: for no
man understandeth
him; howbeit in
the spirit he
speaketh
mysteries.
New Living
Translation
1Cor
14:2 For
if you have the
ability to speak
in tongues, you
will be talking
only to God, since
people won’t be
able to understand
you. You will be
speaking by the
power of the
Spirit, but it
will all be
mysterious.
Contemporary
English Version
1Cor
14:2 If
you speak
languages that
others don't know,
God will
understand what
you are saying,
though no one else
will know what you
mean. You will be
talking about
mysteries that
only the Spirit
understands.
Romans 8:27
King James
Bible
Romans 8:27
And he that
searcheth the
hearts knoweth
what is the mind
of the Spirit,
because he maketh
intercession for
the saints
according to the
will of God.
New Living
Translation
Romans 8:27
And the Father who
knows all hearts
knows what the
Spirit is saying,
for the Spirit
pleads for us
believers in
harmony with God’s
own will.
Contemporary
English Version
Romans 8:27
All of our
thoughts are known
to God. He can
understand what is
in the mind of the
Spirit, as the
Spirit prays for
God's people.
Good News
Translation
Romans 8:27
And God, who sees
into our hearts,
knows what the
thought of the
Spirit is; because
the Spirit pleads
with God on behalf
of his people and
in accordance with
his will.
Weymouth New
Testament
Romans 8:27
and the Searcher
of hearts knows
what the Spirit's
meaning is,
because His
intercessions for
God's people are
in harmony with
God's will.
The
Holy Spirit is
equal to the
Father and the
Son.
Mat 28:19
19 ¶Go ye
therefore, and teach
all nations, baptizing
them in the name of
the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:

14 The grace of the
Lord Jesus Christ, and
the love of God, and

Holy Ghost, be with
you all. Amen.

eternal.
Heb 9:14
14 How much more shall
the blood of Christ,
who through the
eternal Spirit offered
himself without spot
to God, purge your
conscience from dead
works to serve the
living God?
The
Holy Spirit is
everywhere.
Ps 139:7-10
7 Whither shall I go
from thy spirit? or
whither shall I flee
from thy presence?
8 If I ascend up into
heaven, thou art
there: if I make my
bed in hell, behold,
thou art there.
9 If I take the wings
of the morning, and
dwell in the uttermost
parts of the sea;
10 Even there shall
thy hand lead me, and
thy right hand shall
hold me.
The Holy
Spirit is all
powerful.
Lk 1:35
35 And the angel
answered and said unto
her, The Holy Ghost
shall come upon thee,
and the power of the
Highest shall
overshadow thee:
therefore also that
holy thing which shall
be born of thee shall
be called the Son of
God.
Rom 15:19
19 Through mighty
signs and wonders, by
the power of the
Spirit of God; so that
from Jerusalem, and
round about unto
Illyricum, I have
fully preached the
gospel of Christ.
Gen 1:2
2 And the earth was
without form, and
void; and darkness was
upon the face of the
deep. And the Spirit
of God moved upon the
face of the waters.
Ac 10:38
38 How God anointed
Jesus of Nazareth with
the Holy Ghost and
with power: who went
about doing good, and
healing all that were
oppressed of the
devil; for God was
with him.
The
Holy Spirit is
Creator.
Job 33:4

hath made me, and the
breath of the Almighty
hath given me life.

knowing.
1Cor 2:10-11
10 But God hath
revealed them unto us
by his Spirit: for the
Spirit searcheth all
things, yea, the deep
things of God.
11 For what man
knoweth the things of
a man, save the spirit
of man which is in
him? even so the
things of God knoweth
no man, but the Spirit
of God.
Jn 14:26
26 But the
Comforter, which is
the Holy Ghost, whom
the Father will send
in my name, he shall
teach you all things,
and bring all
things to your
remembrance,
whatsoever I have said
unto you.
Jn 16:12-13
12 I have yet
many things to say
unto you, but ye
cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when
he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he
will guide you into
all truth: for he
shall not speak of
himself; but
whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he
speak: and he will
shew you things to
come.
The
Holy Spirit is
distinct and
separate from the
Father and the
Son.

tell you the truth; It
is expedient for you
that I go away: for if
I go not away, the
Comforter will not
come unto you; but if
I depart, I will send
him unto you.
Ac 2:33
33 Therefore being by
the right hand of God
exalted, and having
received of the Father
the promise of the
Holy Ghost, he hath
shed forth this, which
ye now see and hear.
Mat 28:19
19 ¶Go ye
therefore, and teach
all nations, baptizing
them in the name of
the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:

21 Now when all the
people were baptized,
it came to pass, that
Jesus also being
baptized, and praying,
the heaven was opened,
22 And the Holy Ghost
descended in a bodily
shape like a dove upon
him, and a voice came
from heaven, which
said, Thou art my
beloved Son; in thee I
am well pleased.
The
Holy Spirit in His
work and ministry
willingly and
joyfully, submits
Himself to the
will of the Father
and the Son.
So sometimes
He is called “the
Spirit of God” or
“the Spirit of
Christ”.

13 Howbeit when
he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he
will guide you into
all truth: for he

himself; but

things to come.

glorify me: for he
shall receive of mine,
and shall shew it unto
you.

to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said
unto you.
Jn 15:26
20 Remember the
word that I said unto
you, The servant is
not greater than his
lord. If they have
persecuted me, they
will also persecute
you; if they have kept
my saying, they will
keep yours also.
Rom 8:9

the flesh, but in the

dwell in you. Now if

water for their
thirst.

the Son of God with
power, according to
the spirit of

this shall turn to my
salvation through your
prayer, and the supply

Christ,

3 Forasmuch as ye are
manifestly declared to
be the epistle of
Christ ministered by
us, written not with
ink, but with the
Spirit of the living
God; not in tables of
stone, but in fleshy
tables of the heart.
The
Holy Spirit is
truth.
1Jn 5:6
6 This is he that came
by water and blood,
even Jesus Christ; not
by water only, but by
water and blood. And
it is the Spirit that
beareth witness,
because the Spirit is
truth.
Jn 14:17
17 Even the
Spirit of truth; whom
the world cannot
receive, because it
seeth him not, neither
knoweth him: but ye
know him; for he
dwelleth with you, and
shall be in you.
Jn 15:26
26 But when the
Comforter is come,
whom I will send unto
you from the Father,
even the Spirit of
truth, which
proceedeth from the
Father, he shall
testify of me:
Jn 16:13
13 Howbeit when
he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he
will guide you into
all truth: for he
shall not speak of
himself; but
whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he
speak: and he will
shew you things to
come.
The
Holy Spirit is
referred to as
“He” or “Him,”
Jn 15:26
26 But when the
Comforter is come,
whom I will send unto
you from the Father,
even the Spirit of
truth, which
proceedeth from the
Father, he shall
testify of me:
Jn 16:7,8,13,14
7 Nevertheless I
tell you the truth; It
is expedient for you
that I go away: for if
I go not away, the
Comforter will not
come unto you; but if
I depart, I will send
him unto you.
8 And when he is
come, he will reprove
the world of sin, and
of righteousness, and
of judgment:
13 Howbeit when
he, the Spirit of
truth, is come, he
will guide you into
all truth: for he
shall not speak of
himself; but
whatsoever he shall
hear, that shall he
speak: and he will
shew you things to
come.
14 He shall
glorify me: for he
shall receive of mine,
and shall shew it unto
you.
The
Holy Spirit
exercises His
will.
1Cor 12:11
11 But all these
worketh that one and
the selfsame Spirit,
dividing to every man
severally as he will.
Jn 3:8
8 The wind
bloweth where it
listeth, and thou
hearest the sound
thereof, but canst not
tell whence it cometh,
and whither it goeth:
so is every one that
is born of the Spirit.
The
Holy Spirit is
loving, peaceful,
joyful,
longsuffering,
good, gentle,
meek, temperate,
faithful,
compassionate.
Gal 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of
the Spirit is love,
joy, peace,
longsuffering,
gentleness, goodness,
faith,
23 Meekness,
temperance: against
such there is no law.
The
Holy Spirit can be
grieved, resisted,
tested, vexed,
treated with
contempt.
Eph 4:30
30 And grieve not the
holy Spirit of God,
whereby ye are sealed
unto the day of

resist the Holy Ghost:
as your fathers did,
so do ye.
Ac 5:9
9 Then Peter said unto
her, How is it that ye
have agreed together
to tempt the Spirit of
the Lord? behold, the

29 Of how much sorer
punishment, suppose
ye, shall he be
thought worthy, who
hath trodden under
foot the Son of God,
and hath counted the
blood of the covenant,
wherewith he was
sanctified, an unholy
thing, and hath done
despite unto the
Spirit of grace?
Study
the seven aspects
of the Holy
Spirit.
Is 11:1-5
1 And there shall come
forth a rod out of the
stem of Jesse, and a
Branch shall grow out
of his roots:
2 And the spirit
of the Lord
shall rest upon him,
the spirit of wisdom
and understanding,
the spirit of counsel
and might, the
spirit of knowledge
and of the fear of
the Lord;
3 And shall make him
of quick understanding
in the fear of the
Lord: and he shall not
judge after the sight
of his eyes, neither
reprove after the
hearing of his ears:
4 But with
righteousness shall he
judge the poor, and
reprove with equity
for the meek of the
earth: and he shall
smite the earth with
the rod of his mouth,
and with the breath of
his lips shall he slay
the wicked.
5 And righteousness
shall be the girdle of
his loins, and
faithfulness the
girdle of his reins.
Rev 1:4
4 John to the seven

which was, and which
is to come; and from
the seven Spirits
which are before his
throne;

5 And out of the
throne proceeded
lightnings and

burning before the
throne, which are the
seven Spirits of God.

6 And I beheld, and,
lo, in the midst of
the throne and of the
four beasts, and in
the midst of the
elders, stood a Lamb
as it had been slain,
having seven horns and
seven eyes, which are
the seven Spirits of
God sent forth into
all the earth.

Let's not make things to complicated,
reading and doing the truth of the word,
praying in tongues and worshipping GOD
is the key.
Joh
4:24 God is a Spirit: and
they that worship him must worship him
in spirit and in truth.
